5 DAYS SAFARI IN MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Safari Overview
The 5 days Uganda wildlife Safari heads to Uganda’s largest national park; Murchison falls. The place is a perfect birding location – birder’s paradise with 450 bird species recorded. The activities here include big game drive in search for savannah animals and birds as well as other fantastic and untamed wildlife, boat trip to the bottom of the magnificent Murchison falls in search for water birds, hippos, crocodiles, and elephants and buffalos usually seen basking along the water shores, also take a forest walk to Kaniyo Pabidi for Chimpanzees.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1; Arrival at Entebbe International airport.,You will arrive at the airport to meet our guide who will transfer you to your lodge / or proposed place of accommodation. Depending on the time arrival you may go for a city tour to visit some of the nice places in Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Entebbe botanical beach / Sheraton Hotel.

Day 2; Drive to Murchison Falls NP/ Hike to the Tope of the fall.,Early in the morning have breakfast to transfer to Murchison falls National Park. The journey will take you through the Luwero Triangle to pass by the western arm of the Great Rift Valley. You will reach the park in the afternoon to go straight to the Top of the falls where the River Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge to fall a distance of 50 metres deep producing a loud roar of white water providing beautiful scenery- its amazing. After spending some time at the top of the falls you will transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Sambiya River Lodge./ Red Chillie Camp.

Day 3; Game drive / Boat trip on Victoria Nile, Before sunrise you will go for a game drive in the park. During the drive you should expect game like elephants, hyenas, Lions, hyenas, leopards, antelopes, and plenty of birds. After the game drive you will return to the Lodge for heavy breakfast and then rest as we wait for lunch.
After lunch we shall go for a launch cruise of the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls. The boat ride will reward you with animals like the Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and others. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Sambiya River Lodge/ Red Chillie Camp

Day 4; Chimpanzee tracking, In the morning you will transfer to Kaniyo Pabidi area to go track chimpanzees. The walk will reward you with other primates like the Black and white monkeys and others. After tracking chimpanzee you will return to the lodge for late lunch. After lunch you may go for nature walk or rest. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Sambiya River Lodge/ Red Chillie Camp.

Day 5; Drive back to Kampala.
This morning have breakfast to drive back to Kampala. You will stop in one of the towns for lunch and also at the equator for photographs to reach Kampala in the evening.
