Semuliki National Park is another un-tamed Wldlife destination in Uganda, famous for primates trekking, day and night game drives. This is the only park in Uganda where night game drives are conducted. The park is also an Important Bird Area in Uganda (IBA) with prolific bird life of over 350 bird species, some of which can not not be found in any where in africa. Other animals include; lion, forest elephants, erands, Zebras and many more.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Semliki

After a wonderful breakfast in the morning, you will start your safari by meeting our guide who will pick you from your respective accommodation establishments and transfer you to Semuliki National Park passing via Mityana-Mubende road. After lunch Fort portal, take an optional visit to the healing sempaya hot springs, semuliki’s star attraction. And thereafter, experience the thrilling meandering Bundibugyo road through Rwenzori escarpments. While in the Mountains, the road offers scenic views of Semliki River and the tropical rain forest. Dinner and overnight at Semliki Lodge/ Primates Lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking / Evening Game Drive

Early in the morning after breakfast you will go down into to the rainforest to search for wild chimpanzees that can be seen at dawn and dusk. You will retire from chimp trekking before noon to relax by the pool side. Later in the afternoon you will go for an evening game drive. Jungle life in Semuliki National Park is breathtaking especially for birders, primate, and butterfly and plant lovers. Dinner and overnight at Semliki safari Lodge / Primates Lodge.

Day 3: Return Trip to Kampala
Leaving early morning after breakfast to connect to Kampala lunch en route, transfer to the airport for your departure flights
