Furthermore, if you interest is to travel in dry season make sure that your permit is booked in advance as there won’t be or at least there is limited chance of getting a last-minute permit.

However, during the wet season due to low demand for permit, with few people participating in trekking, you are likely to be very few people trekking each group. This will avail you with the nice photo spot. On top of that, even the last-minute traveler can book and get their permit for trekking the great gentle giants of Uganda Rwanda and Congo.

Difference in clarity of visibility and weather
