Nestled in the Northern parts of   Tanzania lie one of the oldest and largest national parks called Serengeti national park. It derives its name from a Maasai word Siringitu, which means endless planes.

This park was inscribed on the list of the UNESCO world heritage sites in 1981 due to its impressive bio diversity especially the abundant wildlife.
