Day 1: Kigali
Upon your arrival in Kigali, you will be welcome by our staff who will brief you and transfer you to check-in at hotel – After lunch, enjoy Kigali city and learn about the Rwandan culture Dinner and Overnight at budget hotel.
Day 2: Akagera National Park
Transfer to Akagera National Park for Game drive where there is an opportunity to see over different species of antelopes, over 624 species of birds including the rare shoe bill stock, papyrus gynolek and the big 5 i.e. Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant) and many more dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Ruhengeri, Introduction to Local Culture
Transfer to Ruhengeri , visit community based activities where you can learn to produce banana ,sorghum beer,( local beers) acquire the ethno botany skills, make your own as you enjoy the beautiful handicrafts made out of banana leaves ,as you experience traditional dancing, drumming and singing, you wont miss to learn how to make a traditional dish together with a local family dinner and overnight at hotel (optional stay in home with the locals
