It starts from Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National park, Kibale Forest National Park for Chimpanzee Tracking as well as the prominent Bwindi Forest National parkfor Gorilla Tracking.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls NP

In the morning before 7:00 am have breakfast and then drive to Murchison falls National Park. The journey will take you south west through Masindi to reach the park in the afternoon. Stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking, and when you arrive in time visit to the top of the falls to get close to the narrow gorge through which the River Nile explodes into the falls. A stunning scenery that is unique in the whole of East Africa. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Murchison River Lodge/Fort Murchison Camp. Meal plan: H/B

Day 2: Game drive /Boat ride

This morning before dawn you will go for a game drive in the north of the River Nile along tracks like, Buligi, Albert and Queens. This early morning drive will reward you with game like the Leopards, Lions, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda Kob, hartebeest, oribi and others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls. This launch cruise will reward you with game like Hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks and plenty of birds at the shore. Dinner and overnight as above, Meal plan: F/B

Chimpanzee Tracking Uganda

Day 3: Drive to Fort Portal / Kibale National Park

In the morning have breakfast and set off for the long drive to Fort portal. The drive will take you along the Masindi Hoima road to reach fort portal in the afternoon. Having reached Fort portal in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Mountain of the Moon Hotel/Kibale Forest Camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking –Transfer Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning after breakfast you will be transferred to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the hike and then later on head through the tracks in the forest to search for these primates. The walk through the forest will be guided providing information not only on chimpanzee but also the other fauna and flora. This is aimed at ensuring an informative walk making it interesting. During the walk you will stop to listen to chimpanzee calls such that you may get the direction in which to go. After some time you will encounter the chimpanzees, and spend an hour with them as you watch them play, walk, and feed. If you are lucky you might watch them hunt and feed on meat- it’s awe-inspiring. Lunch and after in the evening take drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Day 6: Game drive & Boat Trip

In the morning before dawn wake up to a cup of coffee or breakfast to set off for a game drive in the park in order to view animals especially the predators such as the Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, and others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for late breakfast and later on have lunch to prepare for the boat ride on the Kazinga channel. The Kazinga channel connects lakes Edward and George. The launch will take you about Two hours and you should expect animals like the buffaloes, Hippos and elephants at the shore not forgetting birds both migrant and residents. Day 7: Drive to Bwindi Forest

Take breakfast and then drive through the Ishasha sector to have a game drive en-route as you transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The game drive will reward you with animals like the Uganda Kob Monkeys and if you are lucky the tree climbing lions. You will then proceed to reach Bwindi in the afternoon. In the afternoon you will go for a community walk in the surrounding villages and later on you will be entertained in some of the cultural dances of the country (the later is provided on request). Dinner and overnight at Silver Back Lodge/Buhoma Safari Camp/Mutanda Lake Resort. Meal plan: F/B

Day 8: Gorilla tracking- Bwindi Forest

In the morning have breakfast and then go to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the whole hike. After the briefing you will set off through the thick forest in search for the humble giant primates. You will hike up and down through steep slopes which become too steep during the rainy season and later on you will encounter the Gorillas. The time taken to meet these gorillas is unpredictable and it varies from 2-9 hours however the Chances of seeing them is high. The whole process is hectic however if you encounter the Giant apes and spend some time with them you will not regret your efforts. After spending one hour with the Gorillas drive to Mbarara town for dinner and overnight at Mbarara Lake View Hotel. Meal plan: F/B

Day 9: Mbarara-Entebbe Departure

In the morning you will have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala-Entebbe. You will stop in one of the towns along the way for lunch and at the equator for photographs. You will then drive to reach Kampala/Entebbe for your return flight.
