Safari highlights
Lake Mburo is extensive acacia woodland and the best place in Uganda to see the gigantic eland, impala, antelope, topi, zebra, and several acacia-associated birds. The Park has markedly different fauna to other reserves. The 5 lakes within the park attract hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water-birds. Additionally, fringing swamps hide secretive papyrus specialists such as the sitatunga antelope and red, black and yellow papyrus gonalek among others.
Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
Early morning breakfast drive to lake Mburo National Park pass via the rolling hills of south western Uganda ,with is long horned cattle formerly brought in by the bachezi the drive constitute of about 3 and a half hours drive to reach the park. You may stop over at the equator for its scientific experiment and photographs. Though it harbors great number of s antelopes, Impala and zebras. Dinner and overnight at Mantana tented Camp Rwonyo Camp.
Day 2: Game drive at Lake Mburo national park
early morning breakfast, start for morning game drive via the Zebra trail, the drive will enable you to see zebras, topis, elands, impalas, buffaloes olive and vervet monkeys. As well as spotting different bird species return for lunch afterwards depart for Kampala
