Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe and transfer to Kampala
Pick up your self-drive vehicle upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport and embark on this road trip adventure. Spend today in Entebbe, a city in central Uganda located on Lake Victoria peninsula enjoying the temperate climate and the feeling of sand at the beaches on your feet before proceeding to Uganda’s capital, Kampala.

Day 2: Kampala City tour
Arise to a bright and sunny day and embark on yet another drive through the crowded and noisy streets of Kampala visiting places such as the Gadaffi mosque, Owino market, Uganda museum, and Kabaka’s palace among others. These will give you a blend of cultural and traditional experience.
Day 3: Transfer to Sipi falls
Wake up to a long day full of adventure that will involve hours of driving across the country from Kampala to Eastern Uganda enjoying the great breeze from the lush vegetation and the beautiful view of the hilly landscape.

Day 4: Hiking Sipi Falls and Nature walk
After breakfast at the lodge head out for this amazing experience of exploring the Sipi falls on a hike. This involves hiking through the heath and moorland landscapes along the way. You may accompany this with a nature walk visiting the neighboring local communities and the farmlands.
Day 5: Sunset watching and Abseiling Sipi Falls
Try exploring the Sipi Falls in a different way on an exhilarating experience as you take on this abseiling adventure of the Sipi Falls during which you will enjoy the beautiful view of the waterfall as you descend it vertically. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular African sunset as sunlight disappears below the horizon giving way to darkness.
Day 6: Transfer to Moroto
After a proper night’s rest, start another road trip towards Northern Uganda to Moroto for yet another all new experience of nature as well as culture from a different part of Uganda.

Day 7: Mount Moroto Hike
Hopefully you are well rested and energized for this adventure up mount Moroto. Dive into the heat of the day under the sun and proceed on this hike up mount Moroto. This will take you a few hours then you can return for your rest or you could opt for night out and explore the night life in Moroto.
Day 8: Cultural bike towers
Enjoy another day in this community interacting with the local people while on a bike ride tour through the villages as you interact with a few of the natives and the rest will be seen waving at you as you go by and the children running after you.
Day 9: Birding and sunset watching
Pick up your Binoculars ready for a birding adventure today. On this adventure, you will spot a variety of bird species in this region such as the African green pigeon and the African palm swift. This is a perfect adventure more so if you are a bird lover. Later, enjoy watching the beautiful African sun disappear giving way to darkness.
Day 10: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Time to hit the road and take your adventure further north to this wildlife habitat of Kidepo Valley National Park. Here go wildlife viewing and spot the amazing wildlife in this region such as elephants, zebras, leopards, lions, giraffes among others.

Day 11: Full-day game drive
Spend your day in the wildlife encountering several wildlife like giraffes, zebras, Jackson’s hartebeest, buffaloes, and elephants among others. You can venture into a picnic lunch in the wilderness before winding up your day to return to your accommodation to rest.
Day 12: Hiking and Night game drive
Explore this wilderness on foot spotting a variety of wildlife species and interacting with the local IK people of the Morungole Mountain. To properly view nocturnal animals such as mongoose, lions and other big cats, engage in a night game drive for this even more memorable experience.
Day 13: Transfer to Murchison Falls
It’s another new day full of amazing adventures. Time to hit the road again for another amazing experience of one of the largest National Parks in Uganda, Murchison Falls National Park, renowned for being home to the strongest waterfall. Here you will encounter even more wildlife.

Day 14: Game drive and Boat cruise
Arise before dawn on this day and head into the park for some more wildlife spotting. Starting the game drive early morning will enable you spot more wildlife since most of them are active before the sun is out. Enhance it with a wildlife viewing by water on a boat cruise for even a much better experience.
Day 15: Nature walk and birding
After a proper night’s rest, arise at dawn and hit the road for another adventure in the forest of Kaniyo Pabidi, a place covered by huge mahogany trees and iron wood trees. This walk will offer you great sights of nature, sounds of the water and birds like the yellow-footed fly catcher and primates like monkeys, chimpanzees and baboons.

Day 16: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Wake up to another bright day and continue on your adventure to the western part of Uganda, through the lush vegetation and the rolling hills with the next destination being Kibale Forest National, the home to the chimpanzees. You can go on a walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary upon arrival. Here you will encounter a variety of bird species as well as primates like the red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys and the black and white colobus monkeys.

Day 17: Chimpanzee trekking
The day is today. Arise early in the morning to your first primate adventure of this safari with a visit to a chimpanzee family on a chimpanzee trekking experience. This might take the larger part of your day today since this activity takes between 4-6 hours.
Day 18: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a proper night’s rest from trekking chimpanzees, continue on with your safari to your next destination in western Uganda through the hilly and magnificent landscape en route. Once in Queen Elizabeth National Park, feel free to go around for wildlife viewing upon arrivals during which you can spot animals such as leopards, lions, elephants, and topi among others.

Day 19: Game drive in Kasenyi plains and boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
On this second day in Queen Elizabeth National Park, explore the Kasenyi plains, a sector in one of Uganda’s oldest national park on a full day game drive adventure with a picnic lunch stopover within the park. You will spot numerous wildlife with the most common one being the Uganda Kob since they use this area as their mating grounds. Other wildlife will include; elephants, warthogs, lions, hyenas among others. On the same day, transverse the Kazinga channel on a boat cruise and enjoy more wildlife spotting and see animals such as hippos, African elephants, buffaloes and birds such as pied kingfishers, fish eagles, skimmers among others.
Day 20: Game drive in Ishasha
It’s a bight sunny morning and a great day to explore the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park famous for the tree climbing lions. Here you will enjoy more wildlife viewing where you will spot wildlife such as lions, leopards, Uganda Kob, among others.

Day 21: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
It’s another day in Uganda, the pearl of Africa. On this day proceed with your journey in western Uganda with your next destination being the Impenetrable Forests of Bwindi, home to almost half the total population of the world’s endangered species, the mountain gorillas. Since this national park is divided into 4 sectors that is; Buhoma, Rushaga, Ruhija and Nkuringo, your lodging of the day will depend largely on the trekking location on your gorilla permit.

Day 22: Gorilla trekking
Wake up in one of the 4 sectors of Bwindi as early as 6:00 am in the morning ready for your second amazing and mind-blowing primate experience. This is another once in a life time experience that will take you deep in the impenetrable rainforests of Bwindi where you will come face to face with the huge, gentle but yet endangered mountain gorilla. These creatures possess 98% human DNA so keep your expectations high as you progress through the trails in the forest.
Day 23: Transfer to Lake Mutanda
Wake up to a morning breakfast ready to begin your drive through the Kigezi highlands to LakeMutanda, enjoying the scenic view of the landscape and the terraced hill slopes close to the Impenetrable Forests of Bwindi.

Day 24: Transfer to Mgahinga
It’s a new day, another great day to go on yet another adventure further towards the border of Uganda and Rwanda with the next destination being the Virunga ranges’ Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where silver meets gold. This place is known as so because of the presence of mountain gorillas, that are headed by a dominant male known as a silverback and the magnificent golden monkeys. Since arrival in this place might be early, you can take the Batwa trail walk in the afternoon and interact with the native Batwa pygmies.

Day 25: Golden monkey trekking
This new dawn will expose you to your third primate adventure. You will head into the forest of Mgahinga National Park after briefing in search of the beautiful golden monkeys. You will start spotting those golden monkeys as early as in the nearby gardens feeding on potatoes of the local community. This activity is less hectic compared to the golden monkeys.
Day 26: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up to a nourishing breakfast at the lodge then continue on this adventure to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the deepest lakes in East Arica surrounded by the steep slopes of the Kigezi hills and lush green vegetation. A boat cruise on this lake can take you for a visit to one of the 29 islands on this lake such as Akampene Island, Bwama Island, and Bacuranuka ( Upside down) Island among others.

Day 27: Transfer to Lake Mburo
Get on the road for your next destination on this self-drive adventure. This next drive will take you in the direction towards Uganda’s capital Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park. This is the closest national park to Kampala and is located along the highway connecting Kampala to western Uganda. It is home to a variety of bird species and wildlife such as zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, leopards and hippos among others. You can enjoy an afternoon guided nature walk through the different trails in the park such as the salt lick trail during which you will spot a number of wildlife licking the residues of salt.

Day 28: Game drive
Prepare to head out for more game viewing in the national park with a picnic lunch in the wild. You can take part in other activities such as birding, sport fishing, bicycle tours, horseback rides and boat cruise among others and then also participate in the night game drive that will enable you spot nocturnal animals like leopards, hyenas, bush babies, porcupines, white tailed mongoose, genet cats, hippos among others.
Day 29: Transfer to Entebbe
Depart for Entebbe International Airport where you will drop off the self-drive vehicle before proceeding on your flight to your next destination. In case your arrival in Kampala is early, you can go souvenir shopping in this Kampala before you fly out of the country.
