6 day Uganda Family adventure
This 6 days Uganda family adventure will take you through the top safari destination of Uganda starting from the capital of Kampala where you will visit places like the Uganda Martyrs of Namugongo where you will visit a place where 22 martyrs where banned arrive by Kabaka Mwanga for a failure to denounce Christianity. After the tour to Kampala, you will continue to southwestern Uganda to Murchison falls national park with a stop over at Zziwa rhinos sanctuary for rhino tracking experience.
You will also have a chance to do chimpanzee tracking at Kibaale national park, the primate capital of the world with over 13 different primates some of which are endemic to the forest. Then you will end your trip with a stopover at queen Elizabeth national park, the most visited park in Uganda before returning to Kampala to catch up with your next flight.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala City Tour
In the morning, you will be picked up to go for the City Tour in the vibrate Kampala. Some of the popular sites and Places to be visited include the following:
Namugongo Martyr’s Shrine dedicated to the twenty-two Ugandan Christians that were burnt alive for not denouncing Christianity.
You will visit St. Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe located on one of the Hills in Kampala. This was built by the church Missionary Society. The other Cathedral to be visited is Lubaga Cathedral
Another site to be featured is the Lubiri (Kabaka’s Mengo Palace): The Lubiri is the historical palace of the Buganda Kingdom built in 1885 by Kabaka Mwanga II. You will be taken through the palace by a local guide to learn more about the Kingdom and several cultural norms attached to the King and the Kingdom.
After your Day’s trip, you will drive back to your hotel for relaxation, Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to drive to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Upon arrival at ZZiwa, you will participate in the guided Rhino Tracking activity that will get you close to the magnificent creatures. After rhino tracking activity, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park for Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 3: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, you will start your morning Game drive in search for different wildlife. Look out for different animals including elephants, Giraffes, Lions, buffaloes and many more. The guide will take you for lunch and thereafter, you will go for a thrilling experience of a boat cruise on the Nile River. Enjoy the upstream to the base of the falls and the wildlife viewing opportunities are great. Look out for Hippos, and crocodiles, different birds and much more. You will then drive to your Hotel for Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Connect to Fort portal for a community tour
Today enjoy breakfast then you will start the journey to Fort portal, the charming town in the western Region of Uganda. The journey offers stunning Views of the country side, forests, tea plantations as you drive through the towns and villages. You will check into your Hotel and thereafter go for a community cultural tour. You will visit the community to learn about the history and customs. Dinner and overnight at your Lodge.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing from the knowledgeable guides who will provide you with information on how to behave while with these amazing creatures. You will learn more on how these primates behave, and then after you will your activity of tracking the Chimpanzees in the forest. The chimpanzees are more active and seeing there, move, feed, play gives one a unique feeling.
After your Chimpanzee Tour, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Dinner and Overnight at your Lodge
Day 6: Morning game drive and drive back to Kampala
Start the day with an early game drive that will give you the opportunity to see some of the animals in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Together with your guide, you will look out for Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards, warthogs and many more. Queen Elizabeth is truly a wildlife paradise. After the game drive, transfer back to Kampala which marks the end of your Safari.
