Day 1: Arrival-Bujumbura City
On arrival at Bujumbura International Airport, the Vacation Safaris guide will brief you about the whole safari trip day to day. After welcoming you warmly, he will transfer you to explore the beautiful Bujumbura city of Burundi where you will leave from to your hotel to check-in, relax and spend an Overnight.Day 2: Transfer-Rusizi National park
Following an early breakfast, set out to Rusizi National Park, and you will see crocodiles, birds and hippos. Return for lunch at the hotel after which you will visit the Livingstone Stanley Mark stone memorial which is a place where Stanley and David Livingstone met over 130 years back. You will proceed to the zoo to see the various reptiles in the country.Day 3: Transfer-Source of the Nile
Have an early drive to the southern part and tour the Source of River Nile as well as the house of 3 former Burundi Presidents, Buyoya, Micombero and Bagaza. You will also visit their ancestral home with a lunch break in Ruvumbu at Buyoya Guest House. Drive on to see the falls in Rutuna then return back in the evening for an overnight at hotel.Day 4: Drive-Gitega National Museum and Ruvumbu National park
After breakfast, go to Gitega to tour the National Museum. Later drive to Ruvumbu National Park and arrive in time for lunch. Go for a game drive in the afternoon to see buffaloes and elephants etc then later, return back for dinner and slumber at your hotel.Day 5: Primate Tracking-Kibira National park
After having breakfast, transfer to Kibira National Park via Muyinga then proceed to Kibira National Park through Muyinga Ngozi and Kayanza and you will reach in time for lunch. Fater your lunch break, you will transfer for a forest walk which will offer you an opportunity to spot primates like colobus monkeys, the chimps and golden monkeys. In the evening return for dinner and overnight at your hotel. Day 6:Transfer- Rasarenda Falls & Inangururire Caves Drive out in the morning to the southern part of Kibira National Park found in Teza to explore the Rasarenda Falls, INANGURURIRE CAVES and later spend the night at Bugarama Day 7: Transfer-Bujumbura Drive to the town of Bujumbura to relax in a hotel Day 8:Transfer-DR Congo After having breakfast in the morning, transfer towards Bukavu in the vast greenery DR Congo via the Cyangungu border. You will have your Overnight in Rwanda. Day 9: Transfer-Kahuzi Biega National Park Have breakfast then embark on your journey to the beautiful Kahuzi Biega National park to track the rare species of Eastern Lowland Gorillas in their natural vegetation habitat. You will track these until evening then transfer straight to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 10: Transfer-Nyungwe Forest National Park Wake up early in the morning have breakfast then transfer to experience remarkable chimpanzee tracking experiences in the vast beautiful Forest of Nyungwe. You will track these for a period of 2-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed to stay in their presence taking photos to keep for memories and after doing this, you will transfer straight to your lodge/hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 11: Departure Wake up have breakfast then proceed on your journey to the kigali International Airport and en-route, you will visit the Gisozi Memorial Site to learn about the tragic Genocide in which many people lost their lives.The Package includes :
