The 6 days Rwanda-Uganda Gorilla Safari takes you to Parc National des Volcans, also known as Volcanoes National Park, located to Northern Rwanda. It is a home African Mountain Gorillas. Later, we shall cross to Uganda for another gorilla trek in Mgahinga or Bwindi Impenetrable forest. The tour involves 2 gorilla treks, nature walk, hike to Dina Fossey's graves and birding.

Day 1: Transfer-Volcanoes National park
In the morning have breakfast to transfer to Rwanda PNV. The journey takes you through plantations, and beautiful terraced hills that characterise much of Rwanda that gradually climb to the base of Virunga Volcanoes. Dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge(FB).
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking-Volcanoes National Park
Transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and then go to the forest to search for Gorillas. You will walk along the magical slopes of the Virunga Mountains searching for Gorillas. You will meet them and spend an hour with them. Dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge (FB).
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking-Volcanoes National Park
You may go gorilla tracking again in Parc National des Volcans or visit the golden monkeys, or climb Muhavura volcanoes or trek the Dian Fossey grave. Dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge (FB).
Day 4: Nature Walk-Mgahinga National Park
Have breakfast to go carry out the activities mentioned above you did not carry out. In the afternoon you will then transfer to Mgahinga /Nkuringo in Uganda. Dinner and overnight at Mount Gahinga Lodge (FB).
Day 5: Gorilla tracking-Mgahinga National Park
This morning you will be briefed at the park headquarters and then go track Gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Mount Gahinga Lodge (FB).
Day 6: Departure-Kigali
Depending on where your departure flight will be, you will either transfer to Kampala or to Kigali to catch your flight back home.
