The 3 Days Lake Tanganyika & Source of River Nile Tour offers you incredible safari Adventure experiences as you explore the beautiful Bujumbura City Burundi as well as the shores of the vast Lake Tanganyika the world's second deepest Lake as well as the Source of River Nile the second longest River in the world. <./p>
Day 1: Arrival-Bujumbura City Tour
On arrival be warmly received and then escorted to your hotel. Tour Bujumbura City for half of the day, visit the cultural and snake museum, tour the memorial, the city hall, Lake Tanganyika which is the most prominent attraction in the area, the Islam Culture Centre and the President’s Office.
Day 2: Transfer-Source of the Nile
Travel over 120 kilometers to tour the genuine source of the Great Nile found at Rutovu. In the evening drive back to Bujumbura.
Day 3: City Tour-Bujumbura
Today you will go to the Memorial of the Explorers in the morning which is a massive rock in the outskirts of Bujumbura. It commemorates the conference of Hanington with John Speke who both where explorers. Visit the local market, Bujumbura’s down-town and the crafts centre. After lunch, you will then catch your return flight.
