Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Have an early breakfast, drive to the gorilla sanctuary through this beautiful mountain scenery referred to as the little Switzerland. You will reach Bwindi in the evening where you will check in and wait for Dinner and overnight at the Mutanda Lake Resort/Bwindi Jungle Lodge/Rushaga Gorilla Camp. Meal plan: H/B
Day 2: Gorilla trekking-Bwindi Forest
After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides. Carry parked lunch, embark on a 30 minutes – 8 hours trek hunting for the Mountain gorillas. The tracking starts at the spot where the gorillas were last seen the previous day. After a quite one hour observing the gorillas, return to your accommodations and you can have simple community walk. Dinner and overnight as above. Meal plan: F/B
Day 3: Transfer-Queen Elizabeth National Park (Boat Ride)
Early morning transfer to Queen National Park via the Ishasha southern sector to spot the tree climbing lions in the branches of fig trees, lunch en-route and later transfer to the Mweya peninsula for Kazinga Channel for the afternoon launch cruise at the Kazinga channel where you may see a variety of bird species including Flamingoes and aquatic animals like crocodiles and hippos. Day 4: Game drive-Transfer to Kibale Forest
Start with a morning game drive for animals common in this National Park like Elephants, Buffaloes, antelopes, lions, warthogs, leopards, Hyenas, Jackals and a lot more. Have lunch, after lunch you will head to Kibale forest and dinner and overnight at Mountain of the moon hotel/Kibale Forest Camp/Chimpanzee Guest House. Meal plan: F/B
Day 5: Kibale Forest-Semliki National Park
Have breakfast, after embark the safari vehicle and transfer to Semliki National Park where you will visit the Batwa for the traditional cultural performances, and after this performance transfer back to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B
Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking/Habituation & Transfer back to Kampala
Have breakfast and after leave for chimpanzee tracking which starts with a visit to the Uganda wildlife headquartersat kanyanchu visitor centre for briefing after which you start searching for chimpanzee in the rainforestif its habituation, the exercise begins in the morning as early as 5:30Am. During the walk you may listen to the calls of the chimps to avoid bypassing them. The walk will be guided providing information about chimpanzees, other primates, fauna and flora making it informative and interesting. Lunch, after transfer back to Kampala end of services!
