Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer-Jinja for Rafting

Early in the morning have breakfast to transfer to Jinja for rafting. You will spend the whole day rafting on the Bujagali falls and then transfer to Kampala in the evening. Dinner overnight at Sheraton Hotel / Hotel Africana /Holiday express.

Day 2: Transfer-Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast you will drive southwestern region of Uganda to Queen Elizabeth National. The park is the second largest in Uganda and it harbours more than 100 mammals and over 600 birds. You will reach the park in the afternoon and then go for a game drive in the Mweya peninsula. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Institute of ecology.

Day 3:  Game drive-Launch cruise

Before dawn wake up and go for a game drive to view out the early risers and predators returning their hideout. This dawn drive offers you an opportunity to see Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bush bucks and many more.  After the game drive return to the lodge for lunch and the later go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel into Lake Edward.  Watch out for Hippos and other animals including plenty of birds both residents and migrants. The boat ride will take you 2 hours. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Budget Institute of ecology.

Day 4: Transfer-Fort Portal  

This morning have breakfast and then transfer to fort portal. You will have lunch in Fort Portal and then in the afternoon go visit the Ndali crater lakes region. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Rwenzori view guest house / Primates Lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking-Kibale Forest

In the morning go for a walk in Kibale forest in search for chimpanzees and other primates such as the grey cheeked Mangabeys, black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, bush babies and others. You will return to the lodge for lunch and then go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Rwenzori view guest house/ Primates lodge

Day 6: Transfer-Murchison Falls National Park

In the morning have breakfast and transfer to Murchison falls National Park. You will arrive in the afternoon to drive to the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Game drive-Launch cruise

Before dawn wake up and have breakfast to go for a game drive to search for predators and early risers. The drive will reward you with game like hyenas, giraffes, Lions, birds, Hartebeests, buffalos, elephants, primates and others.  After the game drive you will return to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the great Victoria Nile to the Bottom of the falls. The boat ride will reward you with water game like hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of birds dashing and walking along the banks.  Paraa Safari Lodge / Red chili Camp.

Day 8: Chimpanzees tracking-Budongo Forest

Early in the morning go track chimpanzees in Rabongo forest and in the afternoon rest by the Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari lodge.

Day 9: Departure-Kampala

Early in the morning have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala to stop at the equator for photographs and then proceed to each in the evening.
