This one day gorilla experience will take you across the border of Uganda through the lush vegetation and hilly landscape to Northern Rwanda specifically in the Virunga Conservation Area ‘s Volcanoes National Park. Volcanoes National Park, also famed as the world’s premier gorilla trekking destination in Rwanda protects the steep slopes of the beautiful Virunga ranges which is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Volcanoes National Park got its name from the chain of the dormant Volcanoes that make up the Virunga massif which include mt. Karisimbi, mt. Bisoke, mt. Sabinyo, mt. Gahinga and mt. Muhabura.
