3 Day Tarangire national park: All inclusive budget safari

The 3 days Tarangire national park is a short tour that allows you to visit one of Tanzania’s natural wonders that is situated in the Northern parts of the Tanzania circuit (Tarangire NP). This is Tanzania’s largest national park covering an area of 2,850 sqkms.

This is the main highlight to do within Tarangire national park. It involves viewing animals as  your seated in a 4×4 comfortable safari vehicle.

This involves visiting a local Masai community and learn more about their cultures and their day-to-day life style.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and drive to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from Arusha town by our driver guide, welcome you to the safari and then proceed to Tarangire national park arriving in time for lunch at the lodge.

In the late afternoon you will do a game drive where you will view a number of animals such as large herds of elephants, lions, buffalos among so many others. After the game drive return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day in Tarangire National Park

After having breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed for a full day of exploring Tarangire National Park and its attractions as well as enjoying an amazing game viewing experiences as you drive around the baobab trees and savannah trees in the national park.

You will see a variety of animals in the morning since they are very active at this time of day such as leopards, elephants, zebras, antelopes, elands, gazelles, lions among others.

In the afternoon you will do an afternoon game drive after lunch as you enjoy seeing more animals and birds, and the beautiful landscape. You will also have a late afternoon walking safari where you shall get an opportunity to get up close with nature and animals.

Your guide will drive you back to your lodge at the end of your wildlife viewing for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Cultural tour, Departure

On the last day of your safari, enjoy breakfast at your lodge, and then depart for   your cultural encounter by visiting the homesteads of the local Masai people, take part in their traditional dance, milking, making local beers and many more. Thereafter, you will transfer back to Arusha, have lunch on the way, then proceed on reaching Arusha.
