Tanzania Vacation safari
The safari starts from Tanzania’s famous Serengeti National Park and ends in the Volcanoes National Park of Rwanda, the home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The safari in Tanzania takes you to discover the amazing Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. The name Serengeti was got from a Masai word “Siringitu” which means endless plains – in reference to the vast Savannah grasslands which are perfect habitats for both predators and herbivores animals. Known as the “Eden of Africa”, the Ngorongoro Crater is an area with great biodiversity and has been declared the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. Along with the Serengeti, they are two of the top attractions in Tanzania. There are a lot of things to do in the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. You will take part in game drives, camping and watching the great wildebeest migration if you come at the right time of the year. Regardless of when you will be visiting Serengeti, you will have a lot to cherish on once you are done with your trip.
Rwanda Vacation safari
While in Rwanda, you will also take part in golden monkey trekking but the experience with the mountain gorillas could well be the highlight of the entire safari for the primate enthusiasts. Gorillas are believed to be one of the human closest relatives only behind chimpanzees and Bonobos. Although chimpanzees are more intelligent and our closest relatives, gorilla are much more organized. As you look into the eyes of a mountain gorilla and watch the family interact, you might be reminded of what goes on in your own household. If the 6 days tour is too long, you might want to check out our 3 days safari in the Serengeti or the 3 Days gorilla tour in Rwanda.
