Not have random sex or kissing with the stranger

It is a common tendency of travellers to explore the sex life of African people. It is another adventure that can b added to your bucket list. However, during this testing time, you can try avoiding having random sex as it may increase your chance of being infected by the mpox, in case you can’t forego, try to leave your body covered and use condom to avoid getting exposed to this deadly disease.

Avoid handshake and hugging

One of the common traits in most of African cultures is hugging and handshake. However, during this trying season of mpox try to avoid these two acts as thy will bring you in direct contact with other people which will expose to the disease since it is a contact disease. Keep a safe distance from the strangers that you are likely to encounter on your safari as game drive is likely to bring you close to different strangers.

Not over congest the car

Africans tend to overload their normally. However, due to the risk associated with overloading the car. Try to arrange with your guide to ensure that there is enough space within the car to avoid close contact. During this time, try to avoid using public transport mean as that will expose you more.
