Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer-Kalangala
Early in the morning have breakfast and then transfer to Kalangala Island. You will reach the island in the afternoon to have lunch and then go fishing in the evening. Dinner and overnight on the island.
Day 2 & 3 Fishing
In the morning you will have a heavy breakfast and then with packed lunch you will go for full day fishing. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight on the Island.
Day 4: Transfer-Murchison Falls
In the morning have breakfast and then transfer to the main Land (Masaka) to drive off to Murchison falls National Park. You will reach the park to drive to the top of the falls from which the name of the park was derived. At the top you will see how the placid Nile is turned into white thunderous foam as it forces itself through a narrow gorge to fall about 45 meters. (It’s stunning). Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Sambiya River Lodge / Redchillie
Day 5: Boat ride and Fishing
Early in the morning go for a boat ride to the bottom of the falls, to watch animals like Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and birds. You will return to the lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon go fishing in some sites at the bottom of the falls Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Sambiya River Lodge / Redchillie
Day 6 & 7: Fishing at the Bottom of the Falls.
Whole day fishing on the Nile. In the morning you will have breakfast and with packed lunch cruise back to the bottom of the falls to spend the whole day fishing in the different fishing sites that are safe. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge / Sambiya River Lodge / Redchillie
Day 8: Game drive / Transfer to queen Elizabeth hostel
Early morning breakfast, depart for queen Elizabeth national park stop over at the for lunch at Masindi , proceed to the park arrive in the afternoon. Watch out for the visit at lake katwe as you enjoy the walk around , watch the local methods of mining salt as you interact with the local around the lake . enjoy the clear view of MT Rwenzori at glance en-route as you drive to the lodge to as you view animals like elephants, warthogs, bushbucks, bushpigs and others. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge Queen Elizabeth hostel
Day 9: Game drive/ Launch Cruise
Early morning game drive to view different wild species as the drive offers you an opportunity to see the big five ,Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda cobs, Topi ,Bush bucks and many more. After the game drive return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation at the lodge as you wait for an evening boat cruise at the kazinga channel into Lake Edward. View out for Hippos, plenty of birds such as the African horn bill saddle billed stork, hadada ibis, sacred ibis over night as above.
Day 10: Departure-Kampala
Morning breakfast, depart for Kampala. Lunch en-route, connect to Kampala and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
