Detailed itinerary:

After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, your English-speaking driver guide will pick you up and embark on a full day exploration of an amazing city of Dar-e-Salaam with a mini briefing of the entire excursion. The excursion starts with a visit at the National Museum, the museum is the largest with a major purpose of preserving and showing exhibits about the history and natural environment of Tanzania. Next visit is at the Village Museum where the people present the exciting traditional dance, different farming methods and homesteads on different displays which are worth seeing. And the next visit is at the Mwenge carvings market, this sprawling market has stalls in front and studios at the back.

The studios are managed by artists that create all different types and sizes of wood carvings at different prices. The stalls have similar items with a slight difference of different wood carvings of small animals like lions and elephants, carvings of Masai heads with complex carvings depicting multiple people. After the visit, you get to taste Tanzania’s local cuisines at a local restaurant that are too delicious and yummy. After lunch relax a bit then continue to the Tingatinga art gallery. The art gallery hosts several different painters with artwork being created before your eyes with the friendliest artists with interesting art. After you will be transferred back to the hotel.
