This is the burial ground for the Kings of Buganda (Kabakas of Buganda) and it was inscribed as UNESCO heritage site in 2001 as the World heritage site of local and international importance.

The Kasubi tombs are popularly known as the burial grounds for the the late kings of Buganda. The tombs have a very unique building also referred to as Muzibu Azaala Mpanga.
