The 9 Days Uganda Primate & Sipi Falls Tour takes you to various safari destinations around Uganda and these include; Mountain Elgon National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Forest National Park which will give you the best safari experiences while in Uganda.
Day 1: Arrival -Sipi Falls Uganda
Upon your arrival 13.00 Pm at the Entebbe international airport meet our guide and after embark the safari jeep and then transfer to Mbale and this is 3-4 hours’ drive and upon your arrival retire at the Sipi River Lodge/Mount Elgon Hotel. Meal plan: Dinner and Breakfast
Day 2: Transfer-Mt. Elgon National Park
Mount Elgon National Park-Own program and overnight stay at Sipi River Lodge/Mount Elgon Hotel, Meal plan: F/B
Day 3: Mount Elgon National Park-Kampala
Afternoon transfer back to Kampala and have your overnight at Cassia Lodge which is situated at the most of the amazing hills of Kampala which offers the million view of Kampala and the shores of Lake Victoria and at the same time enjoying the cool breeze from the shores of the Lake. Meal plan: F/B
Day 4: Kampala-Kibale Forest National Park (Evening Chimp Trek)
Have breakfast, thereafter embark the safari jeep and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park and have lunch at Garden Restaurant and thereafter transfer to the Forest for an evening chimpanzee trekking, after transfer to your lodge Mountain of the Moon Hotel/Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and overnight. Day 5: Transfer Queen Elizabeth National Park (Evening Boat Ride)
Have breakfast and after transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and upon arrival take en-route game drive to spot more wildlife species like elephants, buffaloes, water and bush backs, and warthogs among others. Lunch, after take an evening boat ride on the Kazinga channel. The Kazinga channel connects lakes Edward and George. The launch will take you about Two hours and you should expect animals like the buffaloes, Hippos and elephants at the shore not forgetting birds both migrant and residents. Dy 6 & 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park-Bwindi Gorilla Park
Take breakfast and then drive through the Ishasha sector to have a game drive en-route as you transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The game drive will reward you with animals like the Uganda Kob Monkeys and if you are lucky the tree climbing lions. You will then proceed to reach Bwindi in the afternoon. In the afternoon you will go for a community walk in the surrounding villages and later on you will be entertained in some of the cultural dances of the country (the later is provided on request). Dinner and overnight at Silver Back Lodge/Buhoma Safari Camp/Mutanda Lake Resort. Meal plan: F/B
Day 8: Uganda Gorilla tracking
In the morning have breakfast and then go to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the whole hike. After the briefing you will set off through the thick forest in search for the humble giant primates. You will hike up and down through steep slopes which become too steep during the rainy season and later on you will encounter the Gorillas. The time taken to meet these gorillas is unpredictable and it varies from 2-9 hours however the Chances of seeing them is high. The whole process is hectic however if you encounter the Giant apes and spend some time with them you will not regret your efforts. After spending one hour with the Gorillas driver to Mbarara town for dinner and overnight at Mbarara Lake View Hotel. Meal plan: F/B
Day 9: Mbarara-Entebbe Departure at 18.00 Pm
In the morning you will have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala-Entebbe. You will stop in one of the towns along the way for lunch and at the equator for photographs. You will then drive to reach Kampala/Entebbe for your return flight.
