A thorough itinerary

Day 1: transportation to Bwindi National Park after landing at Kigali Airport

Your driver guide will meet you at the Kigali international airport, explain how the car works for self-drive clients, or walk you through your safari schedule before taking you to the Kisolo district of Uganda, which is home to Bwindi National Park. During the trip, you will pass through a variety of landscapes before crossing the Chanika border, where you must fulfill customs requirements to enter Uganda. You will be on time for supper and your overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: trekking with gorillas in Bwindi National Park

Get up really early for breakfast before heading to the park headquarters, where the rangers and park guide will greet you and go over the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. You will then be divided into groups of no more than eight other trekkers. Following the briefing, you will go into the forest with your guide to look for these kind giants. Approximately one to six hours will pass during the search before you come across these endangered animals. You will be given an hour to spend with gorillas and observe their behaviors after you have met them. After an hour has passed, you will go back to the park headquarters to unwind at your lodge. Transfer to Kenya on Day Three

After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Kenya by way of the Sipi falls, Elgon Mountain, and the Suam border. The journey to the border takes roughly six hours, and it’s a beautiful drive with many different types of scenery to see. In the Moru Kopjes section of the park, you will see rhinos, which are remarkably well-preserved. It is 100% guaranteed that you will come across rhinos when trekking in the Moru Kopjes area. Not to mention the zebra and wildebeest migrations that occur in different areas of the park at different times of the year, you will also see a number of antelopes and different kinds of birds in addition to the stunning Serengeti environment.

Transfer to Karatu on Day 6

Following a morning game drive in either the central or southern Serengeti, depending on the season of your safari, you will travel to the Karatu region, stopping at Olduvai Gorge to see the site of the first human remains said to have been discovered. You will arrive in Karatu late at night for dinner and an overnight stay when the travel continues.

Day 7: Crater of Ngorongoro

Following your usual morning meal, you will go to the world’s largest intact caldera, Ngorongoro Crater. The drive to Ngorongoro will take approximately two hours, and after you reach the conservancy, you will descend to the crater where you can see all five of Africa’s major species in addition to the many bird species that inhabit the nearby swampy area and the crater lake of Ngorongoro, making the crater a wildlife and birdwatcher’s paradise. Transfer to Tarangire National Park after exploring the crater, where you will stay at lodges near Mto Wambu.

Day 8: National Park Tarangire

After breakfast, you will go to Tarangire Notional Park, which is well-known for its elephant herds that reside in clans. Additionally, the park is well-known for its baobab trees, which are referred to as the tree of life in the book of revelation in the Bible. Additionally, the park is home to a number of large cats and birds that may be seen along the Tarangire River.
